It's been quite a while since I've been on here. I feel like such a hack, but I do promise to update more frequently. Anyhoo, 2014 was pretty spectacular, for those who didn't know, my band Jet Set Gypsies released our first music video which has gotten over 30,000 views in a short period of time. That might not seem like much but its always an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment when something you worked so hard for starts to gain recognition. I'm still pretty stoked about that, and I'm also stoked that we will be filming another video this summer as well.
Most importantly however, is what I am doing right now which is spending all of my time in the studio, recording and producing our brand new album "Tourniquet" which will be released April 11th, 2015. I am feeling so incredibly hyped about this new release. Its unlike anything we've ever released before as far as quality, yet it still holds true to our signature sound and message which we would sooner die before straying from. This new album will range many different themes, and emotions. What we have created is something very special to each of us individually. Please be patient for this release, as we are honored to have your continuous support.
Just ordered myself one of KTZ's sweaters. I'm stoked. I will be posting pics once it arrives.
For anyone who is not familiar with KTZ, allow me to enlighten you.
I am going to do this thing where I get on and suggest a band or artist I particularly enjoy. Hopefully this way many people get the chance to hear some really interesting music thats new and excites them. Today its Öxxö Xööx and the album is "Rëvëürt". Some really nice ethereal atmospheric dark metal stuff going on here. It has emotion you can feel and an overall floaty haunting feeling that gives me shivers. I just let this play in the background on loop.
